Wang Xiaochun

In 2012, he was selected by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China's New Century Excellent Talents Program and Heilongjiang Province head goose action plan team backbone, and Deputy director of Key Laboratory of sustainable forest ecosystem management of Ministry of Education (Northeast Forestry University). He has been engaged in the research on the response and adaptation of tree growth to global climate change. He has presided over (including completed) more than 10 other projects including 4 NSFC projects and national key R & D projects, published 30 SCI papers, including 18 first or corresponding authors, more than 10 oral reports of international conferences (1 theme report of the conference), and 1 second prize of science and Technology Progress Award of Heilongjiang Province. As the person in charge, he hosted the 5th China tree ring Symposium in 2018. He has taught Ecology: the future of mankind and the earth, general ecology, forest ecology, landscape ecology, and global ecology. He has compiled and published four textbooks. There are 7 doctoral students and more than 30 master students, among which 16 have graduated with master's degree and 4 with doctor's degree.
