With the purpose of "introducing high-quality educational resources and improving the quality of talent training", the college selects excellent teachers from NEFU and foreign cooperative universities to teach in English or bilingual. With advanced teaching facilities and excellent teaching environment, it has an independent teaching office building, equipped with 28 smart classrooms and 2 multi-functional lecture halls, providing a higher classroom teaching form centered on students.

At present, the college offers four undergraduate majors of computer science and technology, biotechnology, chemistry and engineering management, as well as master's degree majors of ecology. Among them, the three undergraduate majors of computer science and technology, biotechnology and chemistry and the master of ecology are majors set up in a Sino-foreign cooperative school jointly organized with the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Engineering management is a Sino-foreign cooperative school running project jointly organized with Aston University in the UK, which is under the unified management of the college. It is planned to recruit 405 undergraduates and 20 postgraduates each year (10 in the plan and 10 independently).

The personnel training plan and syllabus jointly formulated by the Sino-foreign parties will be strictly implemented by the Aulin College. In the programs offered by the Aulin College, the courses and the professional core courses absorbed from the University of Auckland account for more than one-third of all courses and core courses. The number of the professional core courses and the teaching hours undertaken by foreign teachers account for more than one-third of the total number of courses and all teaching hours. The Aulin College will strictly implement the quality assurance standards for undergraduate teaching of ordinary higher education institutions promulgated by the Chinese government and the framework system for higher education quality standards formulated by the New Zealand government so as to ensure the quality of personnel training.
