The Computer Experimental Center

The Center has built seven interest group laboratories open to undergraduates, namely ACM Innovation Laboratory, Humanoid Robotics Laboratory, Computer Majors Innovation Laboratory, Computer Hardware Innovation Laboratory, TRIZ Practice Base, Computer Bioscience Data Undergraduate Laboratory and iCAN Northeast Forestry University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base. There are 2 teachers in each laboratory to give guidance to undergraduates in production practices, scientific research projects, and science and technology competitions. Among them, from 2006 to 2018, ACM Innovation Laboratory won 477 person-times (provincial or above) in the ACM / ICPC International College Student Programming Competition accumulatively, of which 13 first prize, 39 second prize, 47 third prize, 35 winning prizes, 1 best women's team award, 6 national silver medals, 8 bronze medals, in addition to 5 silver medals and 41 bronze medals in the Asian region. More than 100 graduates earned annual salaries of more than 100,000 yuan, including 1 person earning more than 2 million yuan, 1 person from 1 million yuan to 2 million yuan, 4 people from 500,000 yuan to 990,000 yuan. These 100 people are employed respectively in the United States Google, Microsoft China, NetEase, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent and other IT companies.



The college attaches great importance to the training and improvement of students' practical and innovative ability, supports students' innovation and practical activities through the establishment of innovative and entrepreneurial platforms, social practice platforms and the student practice bases, and encourages students to participate in the research of college students' innovation projects. From 2015 to 2018, the college obtained 81 innovation projects for university students and scientific research and training projects, of which 26 were national university students innovation projects, 10 provincial university students innovation projects, 31 university-level innovation projects, 7 college-level innovation projects and 7 scientific research and training projects
