  • Shi Jinming

    Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master supervisor

    Program Leader of Biotechnology, College of Life Sciences.

    She earned her master degree of Biochemistry from Jilin University and doctoral degree in Biotechnology from Harbin Institute of Technology. She is engaged in the research on the antitumor mechanism of natural small molecule compounds of plant origin, participated in 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 1 key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, presided over 1 youth project, 1 general project of Heilongjiang Natural Science Foundation, 1 science and technology project of the Provincial Department of Education, and 2 central university projects, published more than 10 SCI papers. She has lectured on provincial excellent courses in biochemistry, compiled 5 textbooks such as “Basic Biochemistry”, won the second prize of Heilongjiang Province teaching achievement, the third prize of Heilongjiang young teacher teaching competition, the first prize of NEFU young teacher teaching competition. She was granted the honorary title of “educating advanced individuals”, the honorary title of “My Top Ten Favorite Teachers” and the award of outstanding teaching quality several times.

  • Gao Ruixin

    Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master Supervisor

    Teacher of College of Life Sciences.

    She earned a Ph.D. in Ecology, from Northeast Forestry University and Postdoctoral Fellow in Forest Ecology of Chinese Academy of Forestry.From June 2014 to June 2015, she went to study at the Stephen Austin State University as a visiting scholar. She teaches botany, plant embryo and microtechnology, participated in 3 provincial-level teaching and research projects and won two first-class prizes in provincial teaching achievements, and the course of “Botany” was rated as the 2007 Heilongjiang Excellent Course. She published three teaching reform papers, edited one textbook, compiled two textbooks, participated in 6 national and provincial projects, presided over 1 sub-project of the national forestry public welfare project, and published more than 10 papers, including 2 SCI papers. Her research interests include structural botany, plant ecology, ecological control of invasive plants, and economic plant resistance.

  • Feng Fujuan

    Professor, Doctoral Supervisor

    Program Leader of Biology and Medicine.

    She is a provincial outstanding teacher and the expert on the assessment of nature conservancy in Heilongjiang Province, then studied at the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences as a visiting scholar.Her research interests include the structure and function of forest ecosystem in northeast China, and the utilization and exploitation of wild plant resources under the forest. She presided over 2 projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation, one sub-project of the fourth national survey of Chinese medicine resources, hosted and participated in the survey work on Heilongjiang Province national nature reserve, provincial nature reserve, national forest park, national wetland park field resources. She published more than 50 research papers, including 10 SCI papers, 3 EI papers and 3 related monographs. Till now, she has more than 20 graduates with doctoral or master’s degree. She teaches botany, basic life science and other courses, won one first prize and two second prize of the Outstanding Teaching Achievements of Heilongjiang Province.

  • Meng Wei

    Ph.D., Lecturer.

    She graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2012 with a Ph.D.. Her research focus is the functions of rice lipid-related genes, especially the role of acyl-CoA binding protein family in lipid synthesis and degradation. She teaches genetics experiments, evolutionary biology, and professional English courses and won the second-class award for undergraduate teaching quality. She presided over a number of scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund and Heilongjiang Province Youth Science Fund.

  • Xing Qian

    Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master Supervisor

    Teacher of College of Life Sciences.

    She earned a doctoral degree from University of Edinburgh, UK., later she has been doing postdoctoral and visiting research at the University of Bonn and Dusseldorf University in Germany. She teaches the organization of genetic experiments and many doctoral courses in English. In 2016 and 2017 as the principal instructor, she guided students in the International Genetic Engineering Machine Design Competition (IGEM Competition), in which they won silver and gold medals. The main direction of scientific research is the apparent genetic regulation of plant development. In recent years, she has presided over the projects sponsored by the Central University Outstanding Young Scientific Research Talent Fund Category D, the Surface Project of Heilongjiang Province Natural Science Foundation, and published articles as the first author or the corresponding author in “Development”, “Frontiers in Plant Journals Sciences”.

  • Zhang Jie

    Associate Professor, Master Supervisor

    She is engaged in environmental microorganisms, large fungi and other research work and teaches microbiology, microbial experimentation, edible bacteria cultivation technology, bacteriology for both undergraduate and graduate students. She hosted and participated in a number of provincial and municipal scientific research and teaching projects, published a number of core articles, many of which are indexed by SCI or EI. She was granted 6 patents for inventions, 4 utility model patents, won the second prize of Heilongjiang province science and technology progress award, guided college students to win the second prize, third prize in national-level competitions, and obtained a number of provincial or above awards (all ranked first).

  • Yang Hongyan

    Ph.D.,Associate Professor,Master Supervisor

    She earned the Bachelor degree and Ph.D. degree from China Agricultural University.Later from 2006 to 2007, she studied applied microbiology at the University of Tokyo, Japan, as a visiting scholar. From 2009 to 2012 she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Agricultural University of China, and from 2016 to 2017, studied in the Department of Food Microbiology at the University of Nottingham, UK as a visiting scholar. Her main research focus is environmental microbiology. In related fields, nearly 40 papers have been published in domestic and foreign journals, 2 national invention patents have been obtained, 2 textbooks and monographs have been compiled, 1 national natural science foundation project and 5 other vertical scientific research projects have been presided. She mainly teaches virology and won the second prize of the school-level young teachers’ teaching contest.

  • Li Xiaoyan

    Ph.D., Lecturer

    Teacher of the department of Biochemistry in the College of Life Sciences.

    She earned a Ph.D. in Marine Biology from Ocean University of China in 2009 and studied at Purdue University in the United States as a visiting scholar from 2017 to 2018. In scientific research, she is mainly engaged in the application of biological materials, pathogen biological control and other research, and published more than 10 papers in Carbohyd. Polym., J. Microxaion and other well-known journals as the first or corresponding author. In terms of teaching, she presided over the education and teaching reform project in Heilongjiang Province and the teaching reform project of Northeast Forestry University, and won the Pioneer Award of Teaching Reform of Northeast Forestry University, the first prize and the second prize of the Outstanding Teaching Quality Award.

  • Xu Zhiru

    Ph.D. in Agriculture, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor.

    She graduated from the Department of Biology of Harbin Normal University in 1996 and joined Northeast Forestry University in the same year. In 2005, she earned a Ph.D. in Forest Genetic Breeding, later from January 2013 to January 2014, went to study at the School of Biology of University of Pennsylvania, USA as a visiting scholar. She is mainly engaged in Molecular Mechanism Study of secondary metabolism of woody plant stem, chaired two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, one project of the Heilongjiang Province Natural Science Foundation, one Heilongjiang Province post-doctoral research start-up gold and research fund project, the special fund projects of the basic scientific research business expenses of the Central Universities (category C and E), published more than 10 SCI papers and more than 40 papers in Chinese core journals, was granted 2 patents for inventions and 4 utility model patents, chaired 1 project of school-level education reform and won the second prize of the school-level outstanding teaching quality award.

  • Wang Chunsheng

    Ph.D.,Associate Professor, Master Supervisor

    Teacher of the College of Life Sciences.

    He earned a Ph.D. in animal genetic breeding and reproduction from Northeast Agricultural University, and teaches animal anatomy and histology, developmental biology and animal embryo engineering. He has won the third prize of the school’s young teachers’ teaching contest and the second prize for outstanding teaching quality in the NEFU. His main research focus is animal genetically modified technology and the protection and utilization of special economic animal genetic resources. He presided over 6 projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Youth Fund project, the Heilongjiang Natural Science Foundation and the Heilongjiang Post-doctoral Fund etc., and participated in 6 projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation, etc. He has published more than 30 papers in the SCI or Chinese core journals, and participated in the translation of 7 textbooks and monographs.

  • Wang Pengchao

    Ph.D.,Lecturer

    Teacher of the College of Life Sciences.

    He graduated from the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018 with a Ph.D. in Science and has been working in the School of Life Sciences of Northeastern Forestry University in 2018. His main research focus is forestry high-value steroids, flavonoids of high-efficiency biosynthesis research, participated in a variety of drugs, health care products biosynthesis technology research and development and technology transformation, the cumulative cost of technology transfer, which is worth more than 400 million yuan. He published 2 SCI papers in “METAB ENG” and “China Life”, with total impact factor 12.8. He applied for 3 Chinese patents, presided over projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation, Heilongjiang Province Natural Science Foundation, the Central University of Basic Research Business Expenses Special Fund etc., lectured in nanotechnology and synthetic biology and participated in guiding students to win the Gold Award in the International Genetic Engineering Machine Competition and the Individual Award for Best Information Processing.

  • Cui Daizong

    Ph.D., Lecturer

    Teacher of the College of Life Sciences.

    He teaches the microbiology and won the third prize of the Young Teachers’ Teaching Contest at Northeast Forestry University twice. As the main guidance teacher for five consecutive years, he guided students to participate in the International Genetic Engineering Machine Competition (IGEM), achieving two gold and three silver medals. He won the honorary title of “Top Ten Undergraduate Supervisors of Northeast Forestry University” in 2019. He is engaged in the research on environmental microbiology and published more than 30 professional papers (including 15 SCI papers), and one monograph.
