On the afternoon of June 16th, Cui Wei, Deputy Minister of the International Department and Director of the International Cooperation Office of Shanghai University, and Xu Xiaohong, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office of the International Department, conducted an online research and exchange on the construction of Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions with theAulinCollege. Liu Zhiming, the president ofAulinCollege, Zhao Lihua, the vice president, and the heads of relevant departments of the college attended the exchange and discussion meeting. The meeting was presided over by President Liu Zhiming.

President Liu Zhiming first introduced the organizational structure, operation mechanism, student recruitment and training, and faculty team building of theAulinCollege, and stated that Shanghai University has always been at the forefront of national universities in terms of internationalized education and teaching reform. This is also a valuable opportunity for theAulinCollege to learn from other sister institutions. He hopes that through this exchange, they can gain good experiences and practices to promote the work of both sides. Vice President Zhao Lihua introduced the teaching situation of theAulinCollege and shared the experiences and practices regarding the recruitment of faculty and the construction of the internal teaching quality assurance system.

Director Cui Wei briefly introduced the preparatory work for the establishment of the University of Lisbon College of Shanghai University. He also expressed his gratitude to the participants from theAulinCollege for their sharing and highly affirmed the achievements made by theAulinCollege since its establishment, especially in terms of its distinctive educational features, which are worth learning from for the University of Lisbon College of Shanghai University. He hoped that through this research visit, they could draw on theAulinCollege's educational experience and further explore a new model of Sino-foreign cooperative education. Both sides exchanged experiences in aspects such as the management structure, investment, faculty team building, and research work of Sino-foreign cooperative education.
