The teaching working meeting betweenAulinCollege and the Faculty of Science at the University of Auckland was held via remote video in Room 609 ofAulinCollege at 10:00 a.m. Beijing time on March 6, 2023.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Liu Zhiming, Dean ofAulinCollege, Ms. Zhao Lihua, Vice Dean ofAulinCollege, Professor Sebastian Link, Deputy Director of International Affairs of the Faculty of Science of the University of Auckland, Ms. Lee Hsieh, Manager of the International Office of the Faculty of Science, foreign heads of cooperative programs and representatives of relevant departments ofAulinCollege.

First, President Liu expressed the college's welcome and expectations for the first batch of foreign teachers to come to China for in-person teaching after the pandemic. The two sides discussed and reached broad consensus on the specific time of foreign teachers' arrival in China, the transition of online and offline teaching methods, and how to make full use of the opportunity of foreign teachers' arrival in China to enhance teaching effectiveness, improve the quality of education, and further deepen and strengthen the understanding of the partner institutions amongAulinstudents.
Secondly, Vice President Zhao Lihua, from the perspective of teacher development and training, combined with the teaching arrangements and teaching cycles of both schools, negotiated with the representatives of the Austrian side to determine the specific plan for the overseas training of teachers on the basis of ensuring the smooth progress of teachers' teaching work.

Finally, the two sides had a friendly exchange on details such as the procedures for personnel exchange and living arrangements. President Liu Zhiming extended a sincere invitation to the Austrian side, hoping that the Austrian side would send representatives to participate in the series of activities of the "Aulin collegeOpen Day" to be held at theAulin collegein June this year.
