On March 10th at noon, the college held a presentation on the International Organization Remote Internship and carbon neutrality international talent training program in Room 708 ofAulinBuilding. The presentation was attended by Liu Zhiming, the dean ofAulinCollege, relevant staff members, some undergraduate and graduate students of the high-level International Talent Cultivation Innovation Practice Base class, and students of the 2020 Engineering Management (Cooperative education) major.
At the meeting, threeAulinstudents shared their experience in applying for internship positions in international organizations and their insights from the internship. Hu Xiao, a student majoring in Biotechnology in the class of 2020, shared her internship experience at the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD). She gave a detailed account from four aspects: why she participated in the international organization internship, how to apply, the job content of the internship position and the internship gains.
Li Yue, a 2020 chemistry major翯selected for the Institute of International Exchange (IIE) non-governmental international organization, shared the story of teaching Chinese language in her position, vividly recreated the little things during the internship, and encouraged everyone to dare to try, The international organization internship is a great opportunity for training.
Huang Mengyao, a student majoring in Biotechnology in the class of 2019, who is currently doing an internship at IPWSO, an international organization in the field of health and wellness based in Cambridge, UK, shared her interview experience and feelings about the internship, and expressed her honor to be able to help those in need with the professional knowledge she has learned. It is recommended that students make good use of the educational resources ofAulinCollege, improve their English proficiency and seize the short-term internship opportunity.
As the specific implementing unit of the school's high-level international talent cultivation innovation practice project,AulinCollege has successfully sent 9 students from the base class to international organizations and embassies in China for internships, and 7 students have participated in the carbon neutrality international talent training project. The innovative practice program for cultivating high-level internationalized talents has not only broadened both domestic and international channels for the growth and development of our students, but also created a new situation of international organization talent cultivation withNEFUcharacteristics.
