On March 15th at noon, a presentation on the innovative practice project for cultivating high-level internationalized talents was held in Room 708 of Aulin College. President Liu Zhiming of Aulin College, teachers in charge of the project, some students of the base class of the project and some undergraduate students of the 2021 grade of Aulin College attended the presentation.

Liang Tao, the project leader, started with global competence, explained what an international organization is, why to go to an international organization, and introduced the training process and course implementation of the project to the students. He said the program aims to guide students to broaden their international perspectives, focus on global governance issues, and step onto a larger international stage.

Since the school was approved as a base construction unit for the Ministry of Education's "Innovative Practice Project for Cultivating High-level Internationalized Talents" in March 2021, Aulin College, as the specific implementing unit, has actively guided students to pay attention to and participate in the school's work related to cultivating high-level internationalized talents. So far, it has carried out three project base class construction and global governance course learning sessions. A total of 92 undergraduate and postgraduate students have been selected for the base class to participate in the global governance course, among whom 10 students have received course certificates issued by the Center for International People-To-People Exchange of the Ministry of Education. 19 students were selected to participate in the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Practice Training camp, and 9 students from the base class were successfully sent to international organizations or foreign embassies in China for internships.
