On the morning of March 20th, Professor Lu Guangshi, Executive Dean of the Australian National College of Science at Shandong University (Weihai), Secretary Liang Fengjun, Vice Dean Bai Ming, Deputy Director He Mu of the Logistics Management Department of Shandong University (Weihai), and three representatives from AEMG Education Group visitedAulinCollege for research. The leadership team of AEMG College and the heads of relevant departments attended the research and discussion meeting on the evaluation of Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions, Party building and student management, faculty team building, teaching quality monitoring system, teaching infrastructure and hardware configuration. The meeting was chaired by President Liu Zhiming.
President Liu first extended a warm welcome on behalf of the college to the delegation from Shandong University (Weihai), and then gave an overview of the overall situation ofAulinCollege, especially detailed work exchanges on faculty building and student growth, cooperative education evaluation, and infrastructure construction. Secretary Yu Yang introduced the work ideas on Party building since the establishment of the college and shared the practical experience of Party building in Sino-foreign cooperative education.
President Lu Guangshi highly praised the internationalized educational atmosphere and sound institutional construction ofAulinCollege, expressed his gratitude forAulinCollege's experience sharing, which would serve as a good reference for the next steps of the Joint Institute of Science of the Australian National University, and also introduced the characteristics of talent cultivation of the Joint Institute of Science of the Australian National University. Secretary Liang Fengjun said that the two colleges were both approved by the Ministry of Education as non-independent legal person Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions.AulinCollege has formed a systematized and institutionalized system in various aspects such as talent cultivation and Party building. He hoped that the two sides could enhance exchanges in the future to jointly improve the quality of talent cultivation in Sino-foreign cooperative education.
Subsequently, the two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on aspects such as the construction of teaching infrastructure, the evaluation of cooperative education, the construction of the teaching staff, talent cultivation, and student union work.
After the meeting, representatives from the Australian National University College of Science and AEMG Education Group visited the college's office area, the multi-functional academic lecture hall, various types of smart classrooms, the student activity center, the psychological counseling and guidance room, etc., and took a group photo as a memento.
