Aulin College held its first graduation ceremony

On the morning of June 14th, the 2023 student graduation ceremony ofAulin College was grandly held in the 101 Conference Hall ofAulinBuilding. A total of over 150 people, including all the teachers ofAulinCollege, the 2023 graduates, and representatives of parents, attended the offline event, while over 1,300 people watched the live broadcast online. The ceremony was presided over by Luo Wei, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president ofAulinCollege.

The ceremony kicked off with the solemn national anthem. President Liu Zhiming extended his sincere graduation blessings to the class of 2023 and offered the students three pieces of advice: first, to maintain the good habit of self-discipline and bid farewell to procrastination; second, to keep a tenacious will and grow towards the sun; third, he hoped that the students would pursue their dreams with lofty aspirations in the future.

Professor John Hosking, the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Auckland, also sent his blessings to the 2023 graduates via video. He highly affirmed the students' arduous efforts and congratulated them on entering society and venturing into the world, wishing them all the best and success in achieving their desired accomplishments.

Gao Juan, the representative of the teachers, delivered a speech on behalf of all the teachers in the college to the graduates, expressing her gratitude and best wishes. She hoped that the students would dedicate their entire lives to upholding the responsibilities that cannot be abandoned, grow through taking on responsibilities, serve the society and the people, make the most of their youth and strive for excellence. She also hoped that they would always achieve a meaningful life through unremitting efforts and persistent struggles.

Ms. Wang Shengying, the representative of the parents of the graduates, came to the stage to speak. She expressed her gratitude and respect to all the faculty and staff of the college and her congratulations to all the graduates. She said with emotion, "Father's support and mother's warmth helped you achieve your academic success. What parents hoped for then, you should understand today." As a parent, she sincerely hopes that the students will still keep their original intentions in the future, take one step at a time, and walk steadily, and greet their brilliant youth with unremitting efforts.

Vice President Zhao Lihua of the college read out the list of alumni liaison officers of Northeast Forestry University, outstanding student Party members of theAulinCollege, and outstanding graduates of Heilongjiang Province and Northeast Forestry University.

Party Secretary Ai Xifeng presented the certificates of honor to the award-winning students and alumni liaison officers.

Graduate representative Jiang Peng and current student representative Yan Xutong of the 2022 grade took the stage to speak in turn. Jiang Peng, on behalf of all the graduates, expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders, teachers and relatives and friends. Four years of hard study and one day of soaring like a giant bird, the students ofAulinhave grown up together withNEFU, moving forward hand in hand and sharing the glory. Now, four years have passed. It is hoped that the students will be like a fire when gathered together and like stars scattered all over the sky. Also, it is wished that the students will have a bright future and a long and prosperous career.

Yan Xutong, on behalf of all the current students, extended blessings to the graduating seniors. She wished them to maintain their passion in the future and set off for new horizons. The road ahead is long. As the new generation ofAulin, they will surely continue to carry forward the fine qualities of their seniors and strive to be new eraNEFUyouth who do not waste their youth, their times, or their prime years.

The spring sunshine bathes the peach and plum trees, and the jade-like branches are laden with ripe fruits. Ying Zhiyao, a representative of the 2023 graduating class, presented a gift to the college. His calligraphy, flowing like clouds and smoke, is filled with the students' deep gratitude and nostalgia for their alma mater.

At the end of the ceremony, Liu Zhiming presented the graduates with souvenirs - rings engraved with their names and student numbers, which carried deep blessings and expectations.
