On June 16th at noon, theAulin College invited five teachers from the Faculty of Science of the University of Auckland, including Kaiwen Yang, the Director of the International Department, Hamish Oakley, the Head of the Student Services and Support Team, and Kevin Yan, the Student Experience Advisor, to hold a pre-departure guidance activity for the "3+2" students of the 2020 grade who are about to continue their studies at the University of Auckland. The Vice Dean of Teaching of the college, Zhao Lihua, teachers from the Teaching Management Office and the International Project Center, as well as students and their parents attended the event.

This pre-departure orientation was conducted in the form of an online meeting. Vice President Zhao Lihua first introduced the significance and key points of this orientation, hoping that all the students and parents attending the meeting would carefully prepare for their departure and pay attention to overseas safety precautions. If there were any questions, they should keep in touch with the assigned teachers at any time. Subsequently, the teachers from the University of Auckland respectively introduced the professional settings, course arrangements, registration and course selection, accommodation and other subsequent related arrangements.

The students and parents who participated in the pre-departure guidance highly recognized this activity, stating that it was instructive for the preparations students should make before going abroad, and it alleviated the confusion and anxiety of both students and parents regarding studying abroad.
