At noon on November 20, the first meeting of the Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC)was held in Room 609 of the Aulin College. Dong Hui, Deputy Dean and Director of the Student Staff Liaison Committee, Peng Jinsong, Shi Jinming, and Li Na, who are the members of the Student Staff Liaison Committee, An Tiejian, Sun Molong, Yu Haiyan, and Jiang Li who are teaching supervisors , Jia Peiyun, Zhao Xudong, and Gao Ming, who are representatives of teachers, as well as students representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Dean Dong Hui.
Deputy Dean Dong Hui emphasized that the significance of the establishment of the Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) was to further strengthen communication between students and staff, timely feedback and solve academic problems encountered by students.
The students representatives actively talked about the difficulties and problems they encountered during their stay at NEFU, and put forward opinions and made suggestions on professional curriculum design, teaching models, major innovative projects, and subject English study. For the questions raised by student representatives, committee members and teacher representatives gave detailed and specific answers and suggestions. Finally, Deputy Dean Dong Hui summarized the content of the meeting and gave more advice. She hoped that the student representatives would take the initiative to understand the learning situation of their classmates and communicate with teachers and academic mentors in a timely manner, so that students could adapt to the university life as soon as possible, and gradually master the ability to independently study and acquire knowledge.
The establishment and smooth operation of the Student Staff Liaison Committee will provide a guarantee mechanism for strengthening communication between students and staff.
