In order to help students clarify their learning objectives, promote students to establish their awareness of career planning and better adapt to the social requirements for talents, aiming at the 2019 students approaching the selection node of overseas training mode, on December 5, Aulin College held a career planning lecture on "expanding international vision and rooted in family and country feelings" and interpretation of 2019 students' training mode selection. Liu Zhiming, dean of Aulin college, Yu Yang, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, and Li Shuqin of the project center introduced the matters needing attention in the future development planning of 2019 students to the college students from three aspects: Students' career development path, students' self-awareness and management, and preparation before studying abroad. Also attending the meeting were Zhao Lihua, vice dean of the college, Luo Wei, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice dean of the college, Li Na, director of the project center, heads of various departments of the college, teachers of the project center, all 2019 students and some parents. The meeting was presided over by Liu Hongliang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the college.
Dean Liu Zhiming introduced in detail the college's student training mode, curriculum arrangement after studying abroad and development after returning home from the aspects of overseas promotion, domestic promotion and future career development. dean Liu introduced the future development of relevant majors of the college from the perspective of data analysis and current domestic employment prospects, focusing on the significance of family and country feelings to the students. dean Liu said: "the past has not gone, the future has come. I hope students can make good use of the high-quality platform provided by the college, fully understand themselves, understand the future and plan their life."
Teacher Li Shuqin of the project center gave a detailed explanation to the students on the promotion and exemption of studying abroad and the materials to be prepared by the students studying 3 + 2 before going. Through the humorous introduction and case analysis, Mr. Li made the students have a further understanding of the preparatory work for studying abroad and their life after going abroad.
At the end of the lecture, Secretary Yu Yang encouraged the students to fully communicate with their parents on the basis of full self-awareness and formulate career plans in line with self-development. No matter what direction they choose in the future, they can always maintain a never say die heart. Aulin college will always be the rear of everyone and provide everyone with the guarantee of student life, Try to minimize the impact of the epidemic on everyone. At the same time, we will actively communicate with Auckland University to coordinate and solve the problem that students cannot study abroad due to the impact of the epidemic. I hope students can devote more energy to their current study and be worthy of themselves and their families.
Career planning is not achieved overnight. The college will provide a broader stage for students in combination with students' learning situation, epidemic development and other factors, strengthen home school linkage, strive to provide students with a better platform and carry out a series of career planning activities.
