2020 promotion meeting of ecological postgraduate training
On the morning of November 16, Beijing time, the promotion meeting between Aulin college and the Department of science of Auckland University was held in conference room 609, Aulin building. Professor Liu Zhiming, Dean of Aulin college, Associate Professor Bruce burns of ecology, Department of science, University of Auckland, 2020 graduate student of ecology and relevant staff of Aulin College and NEFU attended the meeting. The meeting mainly discussed the current academic progress of 2020 ecological Postgraduates of Aulin College and their academic planning after going to the University of Auckland. The meeting was presided over by Dean Liu Zhiming.
Bruce burns, Department of science, University of Auckland, first interpreted the GPA score requirements and the choice of master's and doctor's paths for the cultivation of master's degree students in ecology of University of Auckland. From the perspective of discipline and specialty, combined with their own development needs, it is suggested that graduate students choose an appropriate training mode. Secondly, it introduces the research direction and academic achievements of graduate tutors in the Department of ecology of the Department of science of Auckland University.
Li Na, director of the international project center, explained the postgraduate training mode of the University and the conversion between the 100 point system and GPA scores of the University, and cordially asked the students about their academic progress. She hoped that all students would have a good communication with the tutors and teaching assistants of the University, and the college would also wholeheartedly provide help to the students.
Liu Xiangyue, section chief of the development and cooperation office, according to the feedback and basic training requirements of Chinese and foreign parties, made specific academic progress arrangements for graduate students enrolled independently in the 2020 plan from the docking and experimental work of NEFU tutor and AUM tutor, hoping that all students will think carefully, clarify their next choices and strive to complete their master's studies.
At the meeting, for some questions raised by students, participants exchanged and discussed with students and gave detailed answers. Students also became clearer and more confident about their subsequent choices.
Finally, dean Liu Zhiming stressed that as the first graduate student of Aulin College, the 2020 ecology graduate student attaches great importance to the growth of graduate students and has high expectations. The college will make full efforts to make academic progress arrangement and guarantee services.
