At 10 a.m. Beijing time on November 2, Academic forum of Aulin Joint Research Institute intelligent Forestry Research Center of Northeast Forestry University and 2021 academic forum of Aulin college led by Aulin College （2） The forum was successfully held. The purpose of this forum is to promote academic exchanges between teachers of our university and the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and promote the joint training of high-level international innovative talents. Dr. Kang Huang, Department of chemistry, School of science, University of Auckland, and Liu Zhiming, Dean of Aulin college, Northeast Forestry University, as well as the team of master and doctoral students attended and shared the latest research results.
The forum was presided over by dean Liu Zhiming. dean Liu first extended a warm welcome to Dr. Kang Huang and graduate students. At the meeting, Dr. Kang Huang shared the latest research results on the topic of biological disinfection of food and optimization of surface control. He mainly introduced microbial, chemical and bionic bacteriostatic technology, aiming at how to prevent the decay of fruits and vegetables in the food processing process and how to reduce the loss and waste caused by food deterioration, And how to use plant extracts as additives to treat the surface of fruits to delay deterioration. Subsequently, Dr. Kang Huang exchanged and interacted with dean Liu and his team of graduate students.
Finally, Dr. Kang Huang hopes to strengthen scientific research cooperation with NEFU teachers in the fields related to biomass functional materials such as cellulose in the future, and lay a good research foundation for the joint training of doctoral students by both sides. dean Liu Zhiming thanked Dr. Kang Huang for his report, and pointed out that Dr. Kang Huang's scientific research achievements have very important practical application value. He hopes that graduate students can make good use of the University's scientific research platform, strengthen interdisciplinary, consolidate the scientific research foundation, and strive to make progress.
