From October 17 to October 19, 2021, Chinese, foreign and Mainland The eighth meeting of the joint conference of (mainland China) and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan cooperative educational institutions was successfully held in Chengdu. Yan Bingchen, deputy director of the International Department of the Ministry of education, attended the meeting and gave a guiding speech. Focusing on the theme of "Sino foreign cooperation in running schools in the post epidemic era: new challenges, new opportunities and new actions", the delegates jointly promoted the high-quality development of Sino foreign cooperation in running schools and deepened the opening of education to the outside world with greater efforts and innovative measures.

On the afternoon of the 17th, more than 50 representatives including dean Liu Zhiming attended the enlarged meeting of the chairman unit of the eighth meeting of the joint conference, focused on the core issues and challenges of Sino foreign cooperation in running schools, conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions, gathered together, and discussed new ideas for the high-quality development of Sino foreign cooperation in running schools.
General Assembly
On the morning of the 18th, the eighth meeting of the joint meeting officially opened. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yao inventor, vice president of Southwest Jiaotong University. Yang Dan, President of Southwest Jiaotong University, and Chen Chaoxian, deputy director of Sichuan Provincial Department of education, delivered welcoming speeches.
Parallel sub Forum
On the afternoon of the 18th, four thematic sub forums were held in parallel. Participants of our college participated in sub forum II "challenges and opportunities faced by Chinese foreign cooperation in running schools under the background of epidemic situation". In the discussion stage of the meeting, dean Liu Zhiming had an in-depth discussion with the representatives of participating schools on the theme of "meeting challenges, focusing on connotation and integrating innovation".
This meeting not only deepened the exchange between our college and other cooperative school running units, it improved our influence in the national cooperative school running units, but also provided new ideas to meet the new opportunities for the development of Sino foreign cooperative school running in the post epidemic era, and provided good enlightenment and reference for the college in promoting reform, emphasizing innovation and doing practical work.
