On the morning of October 11, the 2021 Joint Management Committee (JMC) meeting between our university and the University of Auckland was held in conference room 609 of Aulin college. Professor Song Wenlong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and vice president of our university, Professor Jim metson, executive vice president of the University of Auckland (Auckland) and heads of relevant departments of the two universities attended the meeting.

Due to the impact of the epidemic, the meeting of the joint management committee was held by online video. In his speech, song Wenlong affirmed the achievements of the teaching reform based on Aulin college in recent years, and the students' scientific and technological innovation activities are rich and colorful; In the face of the impact of the global epidemic, the CLC (China Learning Center) learning center established in NEFU has carried out three phases in total. Nearly 300 overseas students of Austrian University stranded in China have come to NEFU to participate in learning, which has generated profound friendship for our university and laid a foundation for strengthening people to people and cultural exchanges between the two universities; The Aulin Joint Research Institute, established in January this year, provides a new platform for promoting high-level international talent training and international scientific research cooperation. Song Wenlong also spoke highly of the investment made by Aulin college in scientific management, teaching reform, humanistic care and teacher-student education and teaching. He hoped that NEFU and Olympian university would continue to strengthen teachers' academic exchanges, and looked forward to the 70th anniversary of our university in 2022. Austrian masters and students could gather in NEFU and draw a development blueprint together.

In his speech, Professor Jim metson, executive vice president of UOA, on behalf of UOA, expressed his most sincere thanks to the leaders and colleagues of NEFU  for their strong support in the process of cooperative school running and development of Aulin University. Especially under the epidemic situation, Aulin college has bucked the trend and achieved remarkable results in education and teaching. In particular, NEFU CLC learning center is of great help to the study and life of Chinese students at Aulin College.

Liu Zhiming, dean of Aulin college, and Brett Berquist, director of the International Department of Olympian University, reported to the Joint Management Committee on behalf of the two universities this year. Liu Zhiming briefly introduced the development direction of international cooperation between schools in the post epidemic era, the work of NEFU CLC Learning Center, the enrollment of undergraduate and postgraduate students, teaching management and the construction of online teaching platform during the epidemic in 2021. Brett Berquis introduced the love and policy of Austria university to international students during the period of Auckland COVID-19, and once again thanked NEFU for its strong support for CLC learning center. Professor Sebastian link, deputy director of the Department of science of the University of Austria, gave a detailed introduction and interpretation on the master's study direction and training links of students in the "3 + 2" training mode of Aulin college and ecological postgraduates after they went to the University.

This meeting will increase the master's degree in ecology (China), the construction of an International Joint Laboratory of chemistry and the agreement on joint training of double doctoral degrees have been fully discussed and reached a consensus, which will play a very positive role in promoting the future development of Aulin college. Aulin college will continue to take the connotation development of the college as the main line, deepen cooperation projects, strengthen academic exchanges among teachers, improve the quality of running a school, expand its influence and contribute to the improvement of Our university has the strength of internationalizing school running, building a first-class brand of China Singapore cooperative school running, and promoting the positive development of China New Zealand cooperative school running.
