There are also some aspiring young people who are committed to fighting the epidemic without hesitation. Let's learn their stories together.

First experience of volunteer service

On January 3, 2022, before the New Year's Day holiday ended, Zhengzhou suddenly found two cases of asymptomatic infection. Zhengzhou raised the anti epidemic alert in 2022, and all walks of life responded to the call to join the war against the epidemic. Under the leadership of the Communist Youth League, Wu Yinuo, from Class 3, Grade 2021 Biotechnology of our college, joined the war and came to the forefront of the epidemic resistance - the community. With practical actions, she shouldered the era mission of college students, dedicated her youth strength and demonstrated the spirit ofNEFU.

On January 15, Zhengzhou again carried out nucleic acid testing. Due to the lack of community staff, time constraints and heavy tasks, Wu Yinuo took the initiative to apply to participate in the anti epidemic work as a volunteer. On the spot, she works efficiently and always completes tasks in a timely and rapid manner; She works actively and rushes to the front line whenever she has a task; She works patiently. She always answers the questions or criticisms of the masses patiently.

The Spring Festival is a festival for family reunion. Even with the epidemic, it still cannot stop people from returning home. After the victory of the epidemic resistance in Zhengzhou was announced, Wu Yinuo was still fighting against the epidemic. She explained the epidemic prevention policy of Zhengzhou to the returned people in the community, checked the quarantine seals, registered the information of the returned people, and changed the health code for the removed people.

Although the task of participating in epidemic prevention at the grass-roots level is complex and heavy, it still gives people a sense of achievement. She said: "As early as in high school, I wanted to join these volunteers and devote myself to youth. This winter vacation, I finally realized my dream and joined the most lovely people. I was inspired by other volunteers to join in volunteering. I think my behavior can also bring a spark of volunteer service to others. Thanks for the understanding and support of my family. When I return to school, I will make good use of my time to learn and study. One day in the future, I will use my knowledge to defeat the disease . "

I am the first to fight the epidemic

On February 15, 2022, the COVID-19 broke out in Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After learning that the community streets were short of epidemic prevention and control staff, Wang Zihe, a student from Class 3 of Chemistry 2020 of our hospital, took the initiative to report to the emerging community of the fourth street, Zhalainuoer District, Manzhouli City at the first time and became a volunteer for epidemic prevention and control. She listened to the work arrangement of the community and was responsible for recording the information collected by the whole people. At the forefront of joint prevention and control, we worked with other volunteers and community workers for 8 hours every day to complete the nucleic acid collection task for nearly 5000 residents in emerging communities with quality and quantity guaranteed, promote the use of residents' personal electronic health codes, and ensure the safety of residents.

In order to ensure the accuracy of each resident's personal information, we must always maintain a high degree of concentration in the continuous fast-paced work. After a day, her nerves were tight and her muscles were sore. She said frankly that she often dreamed that she was still collecting information even when she took a rest at night.

In addition to the intensive work in the nucleic acid sampling hall, she also needs to complete more difficult household sampling work. It is very difficult to go up and down the stairs when you need to wear protective clothing with mobility inconvenience to shuttle between buildings. In addition, in the face of high-risk groups isolated at home, the feeling of nervousness and fear is more difficult to subside.

In the face of these, she never complained, and always maintained the enthusiasm and responsibility of young people. Prince He gained a lot from this volunteer service. She shared: "With the current epidemic situation in his hometown, as a college student, he should bravely move forward and do his part. I am grateful to the community for this opportunity, which makes my holiday life more meaningful, and has gained a lot of knowledge that can't be learned in books. These are all precious treasures in my life."
