Life is more important than Mount Tai, the epidemic is a command, prevention and control is the responsibility.
Fight the epidemic together in the same boat and make concerted efforts to welcome the spring return! Since the outbreak of the epidemic, under the leadership of the school Party committee, Aulin College has set up a leading group for epidemic prevention and control , and formulated a work plan for epidemic prevention and control in spring semester 2020. Through learning powerful app, we held a video working conference, actively deployed the work of the college, ensured the teaching operation in the new semester, and made good preparation for students after returning to school. Party members and cadres take the lead in inspection on duty to ensure the safety of fire prevention and electricity use in the office teaching area of the college during the period of epidemic prevention and control. Through Wechat group and QQ group, contact teachers, students and staff every day to understand the physical and mental health status. For foreign teachers to strengthen contact, convey the most real and timely news of the epidemic situation in China.
According to the work deployment of the school's epidemic prevention and control headquarters, the college attaches great importance and takes active actions to put the health and safety of teachers and students of Aulin College in the first place. In combination with the actual situation of the college, the specific teaching arrangements at the beginning of the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic year are as follows.
The opening time of spring semester 2020 (the second semester of 2019-2020 academic year) will be postponed to March 1, and the specific opening time will be notified by the school. The school should inform the specific opening time at least one week in advance, and invite the teachers and students to pay attention to the campus website and WeChat official account. All students of Aulin College are not allowed to return to school in advance without the approval of the University.
1、 Arrangement of Undergraduate Teaching
（1） Make up examination and course selection
1. The make-up examination, which was originally scheduled to be conducted before the beginning of the school, will be postponed to be held after the beginning of the school. The specific time and work arrangement will be notified separately. Please review carefully and prepare for the exam.
2. The work of making up and withdrawing from the first week after the beginning of the school and the re -taking of courses should be postponed to the second week after the formal opening of the school. If there is any adjustment, we will inform you later. Please pay attention to the homepage of the academic affairs office, the educational administration management system and the academic affairs notice of the college.
3. After receiving the formal school opening notice, students who cannot return to school on schedule due to the epidemic situation should report the situation to the college in time, and the college will coordinate and report to the Academic Affairs Office of the University. The Academic Affairs Office will deal with such matters as make-up examination, postponement of examination, supplement and withdrawal of electing courses, and retake course selection, so as to reduce the impact on students as much as possible. The absence of students due to epidemic situation is not included in the statistics of absenteeism.
（2） Make preparations for network teaching
1. The college adheres to the basic idea of "no suspension of classes and no change of plans" and gives full play to the educational innovation advantages of modern information technology, and carries out online teaching relying on learning center platform, wisdom tree, Chaoxing Erya, Classroom online and other platforms.
2. Teachers are requested to make full use of the platform of learning center, give full play to the advantages of online courses, and make plans for online teaching. The college will assist teachers in ensuring network teaching according to the nature of the course, course content, teaching requirements and the number of students.
3. Teachers and academic tutors will receive training in advance to encourage teachers to explore counseling, Q & A, examination, etc. suitable for online teaching, and complete corresponding teaching tasks with high quality. At the same time, students are also requested to make effective use of online resources and actively study independently, so as to make full preparation for the successful completion of various academic tasks in the new semester.
（3） Teaching arrangement of joint training project students
If the students who participate in the dual degree joint training program with the University of Western Australia fail to return to Australia due to the ban on entry into Australia, the college timely reports to the Academic Affairs Office of the University of Western Australia, and tries its best to coordinate the relevant departments of the University of Western Australia to ensure the relevant rights and interests of students.
2、 The examination arrangement of self enrollment for master of ecology
The deadline for online registration of master of ecology independent enrollment remains unchanged (as of March 15), but the examination time and method may be adjusted or postponed due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control. The adjusted time will be announced on the official website of Aulin College at least 2 weeks in advance, and the College will inform the registered candidates in time.
