Undergraduate and graduate students of each college:
In March 2021, our university was approved as the base construction unit of the "high-level international talent training innovation practice project" of the Ministry of education. According to the project requirements and in combination with the actual situation of our university, the university starts the student selection of the base class of the project in 2021, and carries out the course selection of the online open course on global governance of the base class in the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The relevant matters are notified as follows:
1、 Selection object
For full-time freshmen, sophomores and juniors with Chinese nationality and the type of language they learn is English, the selection scope is preferred to rely on the students of "double first-class" disciplines of forestry and forestry engineering, other agriculture and forestry related majors, Sino foreign cooperative school running majors, English and other majors. Students who are willing to practice, train or work in international organizations all over the world sign up for participation, and enter the project base class after passing the examination of students' English language ability, expression and communication ability and comprehensive quality by relevant departments of the University.
2、 Basic information and relevant requirements
(1) Student selection: the registered students need to take the online English written test and complete the online English written test before 12:00 noon on September 25. After passing the written test, they will enter the interview. The specific interview time will be notified separately.
(2) Course selection: students in the base class should complete the course selection and study the online course of global governance. The undergraduate level of the online course of global governance is recognized as an international elective course of general education in the University (G) , the postgraduate level is recognized as a public elective course for postgraduates, and the scores are included in the score file according to the five-level system or 100 point system. Students of our university can choose the courses of human theme, earth theme, prosperity theme and peace theme in the global governance course.
(3) Course learning: all courses are all English online courses, which can be played back by combining live broadcasting and video broadcasting. It is recommended that each student choose 1-2 courses per semester (see Annex 1 for course information).
(4) Credit recognition: after students have completed their study and passed the examination, they can be recognized as module credits of internationalization course (g) of undergraduate general education elective course or graduate elective course according to one credit / course. The specific recognition shall be determined by the academic affairs office and graduate school according to the actual situation.
(5) Certificate issuance: those who have completed 4 global governance courses and passed the examination can obtain corresponding certificates and have the opportunity to enter relevant international organizations for internship, training or work upon recommendation.
