Students are welcome to participate actively. Relevant notices are as follows:
1、Project introduction
1. Carbon neutral international talent training project (EU)
Project background: According to the Notice of the Ministry of Education on the Action Plan for Carbon Neutralization Science and Technology Innovation in Colleges and Universities, this training program is hereby established to serve the major strategic deployment of national carbon peak and carbon neutralization, give play to the role of college talent training, and contribute Chinese wisdom to global sustainable development.
Project overview: According to the trend of global low-carbon transformation, carry out carbon neutral international talent training project (EU). After review and test, students can enter the EU carbon neutral talent training system for 13 weeks of remote practical training. Those who successfully complete the project can obtain the carbon neutral training certificate issued by international organizations and the EU expert recommendation letter. Students can apply for any major.
There are six modules in the project, which are respectively: analysis, discussion and report meeting of the Paris Agreement, analysis and discussion of EU actions on emission reduction and energy transformation, simulation and prediction of the impact of existing policies after 2030, low-carbon and energy transformation paths at the industrial and economic levels, cross factor analysis, and discussion on the roles and responsibilities of different EU participants.
Project advantages: The carbon neutral training focuses on the development and current situation of the European Union in this field. The carbon neutral process in Europe started early and made rapid progress. As a large economy with the most advanced technology and the most perfect legal system in this field, the European Union has a strong demonstration role.
The training instructors involve EU experts, Harvard University Doctor of Economics, etc. They have rich practical experience in the field of carbon neutralization and can better guide students to study and train in this field.
The practical training adopts the mode of module learning+practical exercise. The combination of knowledge points, discussion links and model prediction training will help students absorb and understand the advanced model of EU in the field of carbon neutrality and provide a more reasonable reference scheme for China
Project harvest: Students who successfully completed the project can obtain the carbon neutral training certificate issued by the Institute of International Exchange (IIE) and the recommendation letter of experts from the European Commission, laying the groundwork for further education or employment. After the completion of the project, students can choose to complete relevant reports/papers and have the opportunity to publish them in international journals to improve their personal competitiveness.

2. Distance Internship Program of International Organizations
Project introduction: The international organization long-distance internship project has many well-known and authoritative international organizations to choose from, such as FAO - Dryland Agricultural Research Center - International Cactus Technical Cooperation Network, APEC, International Horticultural Producers Association, International Law Research Center, Asian Design Alliance, etc. After passing the interview, the students will be employed as formal interns by international organizations to carry out a 3 to 12 month long distance internship. Students who successfully complete the internship can obtain internship certificates or letters of recommendation.
Advantages of the project: a large number of international organizations (200+) can be selected, covering many fields such as politics, economy, energy and sustainable development, agriculture, education, culture and art. Internship positions cover most of the majors under study, and applicants can choose according to their majors and interests. International organizations are highly authoritative and highly recognized in the industry, which is conducive to enhancing professional ability and employment competitiveness. The distance internship is not affected by the epidemic situation. It is not a real-time job. The time is flexible. The start and end time of the internship/the duration of the internship are selected by the applicant.
