Aulin College of Northeast Forestry University is a Sino foreign cooperative educational institution jointly established by Northeast Forestry University of China and University of Auckland in New Zealand, which is not an independent legal person. It was approved by the Ministry of Education on April 15, 2019. It belongs to Northeast Forestry University (hereinafter referred to as "NEFU"), and the school is located inNEFUCampus.
At present, the college offers four undergraduate level majors of computer science and technology, biotechnology, chemistry and engineering management, and a master's degree in ecology. Among them, computer science and technology, biotechnology, and chemistry are the three undergraduate level majors, as well as ecology master level majors, which are the opening majors in the Sino foreign cooperative educational institutions jointly organized with the University of Auckland, New Zealand. The major of engineering management belongs to the Sino foreign cooperative school running project jointly held with Aston University in the United Kingdom and is under the unified management of the College. It is planned to recruit 405 undergraduate students and 20 postgraduate students each year.
With the aim of "introducing high-quality educational resources and improving the quality of talent training", the college has selected outstanding teachers fromNEFUand foreign cooperative universities to teach in English or bilingual. Advanced teaching facilities, excellent teaching environment, independent teaching office building, 30 smart classrooms, and a higher student centered classroom teaching form.
The College, together with the University of Auckland in New Zealand, the University of Western Australia in Australia and the Sydney University of Science and Technology, has jointly set up the "Joint Research Institute ofAulin" to jointly cultivate doctoral students who can obtain doctoral degrees from overseas universities, attract high-level talents with international competitiveness, and meet the needs of high-level education and international talent training.
Professional introduction
Ecology (major code: 071300). After going abroad, the graduate students of ecology ofAulinCollege will study in the School of Science of Auckland University. The environmental science of the School of Science is an advantageous major in the postgraduate teaching of the University. In 2021, the QS World University ranked 92nd. This major trains applied research and innovative talents with cross-cultural communication ability, international competitiveness and social needs.
Enrollment and admission
Independent enrollment is planned to enroll 10 students every year, with a schooling period of 2 years. Those who meet the graduation conditions can obtain the master's degree certificate of Auckland University.

Place of study and charging standard
The domestic place of study is Northeast Forestry University (No. 26 Hexing Road, Xiangfang District, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province), and the domestic tuition is to be determined in yuan/student/year.
The place of study abroad is the University of Auckland, New Zealand (located in Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand). After going abroad, the tuition will be charged according to the current tuition standard of the University of Auckland. The tuition is about NZ $46000/student/year, and no domestic tuition will be charged.
Those who meet the application conditions can apply for the "Aulin Scholarship" ofAulinCollege of Northeast Forestry University, the academic scholarship ofAulinCollege, the AochenInternational Education Exchange Fund of Northeast Forestry University, the Aochen Special Scholarship of Northeast Forestry University, and the special scholarship ofAulinCollege.

Among the specialties offered byAulinCollege, the courses and core professional courses of the foreign partner universities account for more than one-third of the total courses and core courses, and the number of courses and teaching hours of core professional courses undertaken by foreign teachers account for more than one-third of the total courses and teaching hours.AulinCollege will strictly implement the undergraduate teaching quality assurance standards issued by the Chinese government and the framework system of higher education quality standards formulated by the New Zealand government to ensure the quality of talent training.
Advantages in English teaching: The college has its own academic English teaching, which replaces the public foreign language courses for graduate students. It is equipped with Chinese and English academic English teachers from five aspects, namely, listening, speaking, reading, writing and scientific writing, to improve English ability in an all-round way. In the first year, academic English teaching has been continuous, and the average academic English achievement has reached 70 points or more (no less than 65 points in a single semester), The IELTS test will be exempted (the University of Austria requires an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, and the individual score will not be lower than 6.0), and TOEFL (TOEFL score of 90 or above, and writing score of 22 or above).
