东北林业大学70载的孜孜奋进，留给东林人的是“学参天地，德合自然”的校训传统和以“团结拼搏、自我激励、发挥优势、争创一流”为核心的东林精神。自建校以来，学校已向国家输送各类毕业生19万余人，遍及华夏、绿满天涯，在经济社会发展和生态文明建设中发挥了重要作用。

My name is Dawn Freshwater, Vice-Chancellor (President) of the University of Auckland, and it is my pleasure to welcome you to Aulin College，A collaboration between the Northeast Forestry University and the University of Auckland. Aulin takes the first syllable of “Auckland” and the first syllable of “Linye”a Chinese a name meaning Forestry to bring together Aulin College Which we feel is a meaningful way and symbolises of our commitment working together.

我是Dawn Freshwater, 奥克兰大学校长。我非常荣幸地欢迎你加入由东北林业大学和奥克兰大学共同创立的“奥林学院”，奥林学院由“奥克兰”和“林业”的首音节组成，这象征着我们两所大学之间合作的深刻意义。

The University of Auckland was founded in 1883, and since its founding its being really committed in research, and to research that education and excellece in teaching and learning. This is being recognized most recently in 2020 by the Times Higher Education University Impact rakings. While once again for the second consectuive year, we ranked No.1 sustainablilty impact across a range of areas.
