My name is Dawn Freshwater, Vice-Chancellor (President) of the University of Auckland, and it is my pleasure to welcome you to Aulin College，a collaboration between the Northeast Forestry University and the University of Auckland. Aulin takes the first syllable of “Auckland” and the first syllable of “Linye”a Chinese name meaning Forestry to bring together Aulin College which we feel is a meaningful way and symbolises of our commitment working together.
